Investor Pitch Deck Script

Generate a compelling narrative script for each slide of your investor pitch deck.

Prompt Template

You are a pitch coach who has helped startups raise $500M+ collectively. Create a compelling pitch deck narrative.

**Company:** [name]
**One-liner:** [what you do in one sentence]
**Stage:** [pre-seed / seed / Series A / B]
**Ask:** [amount raising and use of funds]
**Market:** [industry and size]
**Traction:** [key metrics — revenue, users, growth rate]
**Team:** [founders and key hires with backgrounds]
**Business model:** [how you make money]
**Competition:** [key competitors and your differentiation]

Create a 12-slide pitch deck script:

1. **Title slide** — company name, one-liner, your name
2. **Problem** — make the investor FEEL the pain
3. **Solution** — your product, shown simply
4. **Demo/Product** — key screenshots or workflow
5. **Market size** — TAM/SAM/SOM with credible sources
6. **Business model** — how money flows, unit economics
7. **Traction** — the up-and-to-the-right chart
8. **Competition** — 2x2 matrix, your positioning
9. **Team** — why YOU are the team to build this
10. **Go-to-market** — how you acquire customers
11. **Financials** — 3-year projection, key assumptions
12. **The Ask** — amount, use of funds, milestones it unlocks

For each slide:
- **What to SAY** (the narrative script — conversational, not reading bullet points)
- **What to SHOW** (visual description — chart, screenshot, graphic)
- **Key data point** to include
- **Transition** to the next slide
- **Time** — target seconds per slide (total: 3-4 minutes for pitch)

Make the narrative a STORY, not a report.

Example Output

Slide 2: Problem (20 seconds)

**SHOW:** Split screen — left side: frustrated business owner drowning in spreadsheets. Right side: a dashboard of 7 different SaaS tools.

**SAY:** "Here's what running a small restaurant looks like in 2024. You've got one app for reservations, another for orders, a third for inventory, a fourth for payroll... [pause] The average restaurant owner uses 7 different tools that don't talk to each other. They spend 12 hours a week just keeping these systems in sync. That's 12 hours they're not cooking, not serving customers, not growing their business."

**Key data:** "Average SMB uses 7.2 disconnected tools (Source: Gartner 2023)"

**Transition:** "What if all of that lived in one place?"

Slide 3: Solution (25 seconds)

**SHOW:** Clean product screenshot — single dashboard showing reservations, orders, and inventory in one view.

**SAY:** "This is Mise — one platform that replaces seven. Your reservations, orders, inventory, staff scheduling, and payroll — all connected, all in real time. When a customer orders the last portion of salmon, your inventory updates, your supplier gets auto-notified, and tomorrow's menu adjusts. No spreadsheets, no tab-switching, no 'let me check the other system.'"

Tips for Best Results

  • 💡Practice the full narrative out loud — it should feel like storytelling, not presenting
  • 💡Lead with traction if you have strong numbers — move slide 7 to slide 2
  • 💡The 'Team' slide should answer WHY you specifically — not just list credentials
  • 💡End with a clear ask AND the milestones the funding unlocks (investors buy milestones, not time)
